WE ARE MADE FOR COMMUNITY
The first thing in creation that God declared to be “not good” was the fact that man was alone. To remedy this, God created woman, and in doing so He created interpersonal community. This is why we believe that all people were made for community, and that it is vital to life. Furthermore, we believe that community is especially vital to the lives of believers. If we are to look more like Christ with each passing day, we need the encouragement that comes with Christian community.
THE GOAL
The purpose of community groups is simple — to encourage one another in Gospel hope, to stir one another in Gospel mission, and to care for one another in a Gospel manner. All groups look different — some do book studies, while others do video-based studies; some always meet in large-group gatherings, while some like to alternate between large group and gender-specific groups. Whatever the groups may look like, the goal is always the same: care and encouragement in your relationship with Christ through meaningful relationships, God’s Word, and prayer.
